Advocacy, Healthy Living, and Personal Growth
Through Cycling and Community
We advocate for safe cycling and improved trail and road cycling infrastructure. We believe the best success in cycling comes from being the best you.
In collaboration with The Richard Tom Foundation we have come together in a joint mission to be advocates for, and to be creators of safer cycling infrastructure, roadways, and policies; and to provide resources and welcoming opportunities to all cyclists, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, FTW, and youth cyclists of all experiences and levels.
All are welcome, and we welcome all. Jackalope Northeast Cycling in Collaboration with The Richard Tom Foundation as part of the Green Mountain Bike Club is a team of inclusion, acceptance, and community. We are a team of personal performance and believe that being the best you is the best goal. As a team, we are here to support you through cycling to achieve your dreams and ambitions.
We believe community is built through application and exuberance of our five team tenets both on and off the bike, in and out of cycling. These tenets are:
Courtesy - the showing of politeness in one's attitude and behavior toward others.
Integrity - the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.
Perseverance - persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success
Self-Control - the ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires or the expression of them in one's behavior, especially in difficult situations.
Indomitable Spirit - strength, bravery, and determination in the face of difficulty, defeat, and/or fear.
Community cycling is reflected when members come together to grow, and help those around them to achieve. It is within these concepts Jackalope Northeast Cycling in Collaboration with The Richard Tom Foundation finds community to be paramount in team structure. For without each other, we are but one drop in a million buckets….
